This range of field indicators is to help you check and measure magnetic field strength and direction during the magnetic particle inspection process. Rugged, pocket-size 10 and 20 gauss meters and pie gauge indicator provide flexibility in measuring residual part magnetism, field direction and AC/DC field strength in mag particle testing applications.
The Magnaflux ® 20 Gauss Calibrated Field Indicator is for general purpose use as may be required in various demagnetization specifications. Scaled +20 or -20 gauss from 0 center with large divisions at 2 gauss and small divisions at 1 gauss. The gauss field indicator will withstand exposure to fields as strong as 400 oersteds without affecting calibration and is accurate to +/- 1.0 gauss. Certification is provided.
Rugged, pocket-size meters used to indicate residual magnetism remaining in part after magnetization. Accurate to +/-1 gauss with scale range of 20-0-20.
