Made of Borosicate 3.3, these glasses come with a white graduation and marking area for use with a common pencil. The beaker has a uniform wall thickness, which makes it ideal for heating application. A beaker is generally cylindrical in shape with a flat bottom and graduation markers that are used to store, mix, and heat liquids in laboratories. Most also have a small spout (or «spout») to aid pouring. Beakers come in either low or tall shape heights. Low (or standard) shape beakers are typically about 1.4 times their diameter in height
